Automated Audit Management and Assessment
Automated audit management keeps audit planning, evidence requests, reviews and reports in one place, with the evidence collected by the platform rather than chased by email. In DigitalXForce, the A-Assess modality of the AI-Powered Risk Management and Automated GRC module prepares evidence and findings in the form auditors review, and continuous control monitoring keeps that evidence current between audits. It runs on the TRiSCM platform, and the terms used here are defined in the DigitalXForce glossary.
Continuous Control Assurance (CCA) uses evidence, monitoring and validation to determine whether controls continue to operate as expected. Continuous Control Monitoring (CCM) monitors conditions, evidence and signals associated with controls. CCM is a capability within CCA. Auditors who use the platform see each test result with the date its evidence was read. The audit itself stays with the auditor.

Questions about Automated Audit Management and Assessment
What is automated audit management?
Automated audit management keeps audit planning, evidence requests, reviews and reports in one place, with the evidence collected by the platform rather than chased by email. DigitalXForce runs it in the AI-Powered Risk Management and Automated GRC module, where the A-Assess modality prepares the evidence and findings for the auditor. Automated GRC replaces spreadsheet governance, risk and compliance with a platform that tests controls, maps them to frameworks and reports status without manual evidence collection.
What does A-Assess do?
A-Assess is the audit assessment modality in the DigitalXForce Automated GRC module, and it prepares evidence and findings in the form auditors review. It works beside C-Assess, which tests controls against the requirements of each compliance framework, and X-Assess, which tests security controls against the live state of the security stack. The DigitalXForce glossary defines all three.
Does DigitalXForce perform the audit?
DigitalXForce does not perform internal audits, and the audit itself stays with the auditor. Auditors work in the DigitalXForce platform, and DigitalXForce gets clients ready for their audits. Each auditor decides whether to rely on the control history the platform keeps.
What does an auditor see in DigitalXForce?
Every test result in DigitalXForce is stored with the evidence it read and a timestamp. DigitalXForce keeps every result, exception, decision and retest, and the auditor sees the history of a control instead of a sample. The evidence collection page shows how that evidence is gathered.
How does DigitalXForce keep audit evidence current between audits?
Continuous Control Monitoring (CCM) monitors conditions, evidence and signals associated with controls, and it keeps the evidence current between audits. CCM is a capability within Continuous Control Assurance. Continuous Control Assurance (CCA) uses evidence, monitoring and validation to determine whether controls continue to operate as expected. DigitalXForce labels stale or missing evidence for what it is and never counts it as a pass, and the Continuous Control Monitoring page explains how often each control is read.
How does a control owner submit evidence for a control that leaves no machine-readable trace?
For a control that leaves no machine-readable trace, such as a board’s review of risk appetite or a signed contract clause, the control owner answers questions and attaches evidence, AI JedAI reads the documents and a reviewer approves the result. AI JedAI is the DigitalXForce AI engine that analyzes: it reasons over control evidence and live telemetry, maps documents to controls and frameworks, scores and prioritizes risk, and recommends remediation mapped to framework requirements. These controls carry a review date instead of a test frequency.
How are audit items tied to frameworks?
DigitalXForce maps each control once to every framework requirement it satisfies, across 50+ compliance frameworks, so one piece of evidence is reused across all of them. The DigitalXForce frameworks page shows the most requested frameworks, and the full list is available on request.
Does DigitalXForce help with SOC 2 audits?
DigitalXForce prepares organizations for SOC 2, and the platform can review SOC 2 reports with automation and AI. DigitalXForce does not issue SOC 2 reports, since an independent CPA firm does that. The point in time testing page explains why external audits and certifications still run on their own cycles while DigitalXForce tests controls between them.
