Real-time, Continuous AI Risk Management & Assessment

Real-time, continuous risk management assesses risk as the environment changes, instead of at a quarterly review, and turns each change into an alert someone owns. DigitalXForce does this in X-ROC, the XForce Risk Operations Center, which alerts, triages and escalates control failures, risk changes and vendor events in real time, while continuous control monitoring keeps the evidence behind them current. It runs on the TRiSCM platform, and the terms used here are defined in the DigitalXForce glossary.

Continuous Control Assurance (CCA) uses evidence, monitoring and validation to determine whether controls continue to operate as expected. Continuous Control Monitoring (CCM) monitors conditions, evidence and signals associated with controls. CCM is a capability within CCA. X-ROC ranks the control failures CCA finds by quantified business impact rather than by a severity label.

Questions about Real-Time, Continuous AI Risk Management and Assessment

What is real-time, continuous risk management?

Real-time, continuous risk management assesses risk as the environment changes, instead of at a quarterly review, and turns each change into an alert someone owns. DigitalXForce does this on the TRiSCM™ platform. X-ROC, the XForce Risk Operations Center, is the operations layer of the DigitalXForce TRiSCM platform, where control failures, risk changes and vendor events are alerted, triaged, escalated and reported.

How do Continuous Monitoring, Continuous Control Monitoring and Continuous Control Assurance differ?

Each one does a different job. Continuous Monitoring observes relevant systems, telemetry, signals and changes. Continuous Control Assurance (CCA) uses evidence, monitoring and validation to determine whether controls continue to operate as expected. Continuous Control Monitoring (CCM) monitors conditions, evidence and signals associated with controls, and CCM is a capability within CCA, which sits above it as the strategic level.

Which events reach X-ROC?

X-ROC takes in failed controls, posture changes and vendor events as alerts, with the evidence attached. Posture changes come from X-SPM, vendor events come from the Third-Party Risk Management module and its External Risk View, and findings on AI systems come from AI TRiSCM and AI Risk Governance. All of them land in one queue, so security, risk and compliance teams work from one list.

How does DigitalXForce decide which risk to work on first?

X-ROC triage ranks alerts by quantified business impact, using cyber risk quantification, not by a severity label alone. Cyber risk quantification (CRQ) quantifies a cyber risk in dollars, giving the financial loss the organization would face if the risk materializes. DigitalXForce runs its own quantification model, built on industry best practices and the data the platform collects.

What does AI do in DigitalXForce risk management?

DigitalXForce runs two separate AI engines. AI JedAI is the DigitalXForce AI engine that analyzes: it reasons over control evidence and live telemetry, maps documents to controls and frameworks, scores and prioritizes risk, and recommends remediation mapped to framework requirements. XForce GPT is the DigitalXForce generative AI engine that writes: it produces the plain-language risk narratives and board-ready reports, generates policies, standards and plans, and runs the embedded assistant. An analyst reviews AI output before anyone relies on it, and every conclusion links back to the evidence it used.

What happens after an alert is raised?

X-ROC triages each alert, escalates it and tracks remediation to closure. Each alert gets an owner and a target date. The team that owns the system makes the fix, since X-ROC never changes a customer’s systems on its own, and remediation tickets can go to ServiceNow or Jira if the organization chooses. The control is tested again when the fix is marked done, and the finding closes only when the retest passes.

How often does DigitalXForce reassess a control?

Each control in DigitalXForce has its own test frequency, set by how fast its evidence can change. A control can be tested as often as every hour or as rarely as once a month. The Continuous Control Monitoring page gives examples, and the point in time testing page compares this with testing controls once a year.

Does this solution also cover the risks of AI systems?

Yes, the AI TRiSCM and AI Risk Governance module covers the AI systems an organization runs. AI TRiSCM and AI Risk Governance is the DigitalXForce module for AI asset discovery, assessment and mapping to NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, the EU AI Act, the OWASP LLM Top 10 and MITRE ATLAS. A finding on an AI system reaches X-ROC with an owner, like any other control failure.
