Automated GRC
Automated GRC replaces spreadsheet governance, risk and compliance with a platform that tests controls, maps them to frameworks and reports status without manual evidence collection. In DigitalXForce it is the AI-Powered Risk Management and Automated GRC module, which runs three assessment modalities, tests controls continuously, and maps each control once to 50+ compliance frameworks so the evidence is reused across all of them. It runs on the TRiSCM platform, and the terms used here are defined in the DigitalXForce glossary.
Continuous Control Assurance (CCA) uses evidence, monitoring and validation to determine whether controls continue to operate as expected. The continuous control tests in Automated GRC are part of CCA. Each result is stored with the evidence it read and a timestamp, so an auditor can see how current that evidence is.

Questions about Automated GRC
What is automated GRC?
Automated GRC replaces spreadsheet governance, risk and compliance with a platform that tests controls, maps them to frameworks and reports status without manual evidence collection. DigitalXForce delivers automated GRC through the AI-Powered Risk Management and Automated GRC module, one of the 15 modules of the TRiSCM™ platform. TRiSCM, or Trust, Risk, Security and Compliance Management, is a category of enterprise software defined by DigitalXForce that converges automated governance, risk and compliance with security posture management into a single real-time system, replacing periodic control validation with continuous control assurance.
How does automated GRC differ from spreadsheet GRC?
In spreadsheet GRC, people gather evidence by hand and type the status of each control into a file. DigitalXForce Automated GRC reads the evidence from the source system through an integration, tests the control and stores each result with the evidence it read and a timestamp. A gap becomes a finding with an owner and a due date, and the finding closes only when a retest passes. The evidence collection page shows how that collection works.
How does automated GRC relate to Continuous Control Assurance?
The control tests in DigitalXForce Automated GRC are part of Continuous Control Assurance, the strategic top level of the model. Continuous Control Assurance (CCA) uses evidence, monitoring and validation to determine whether controls continue to operate as expected. Continuous Control Monitoring (CCM) monitors conditions, evidence and signals associated with controls, and DigitalXForce treats it as one capability inside CCA.
How often does DigitalXForce test a control?
Each control in DigitalXForce has its own test frequency, set by how fast its evidence can change. The Continuous Control Monitoring page gives examples, with MFA status read daily, log retention and SIEM feed health read hourly, backup verification daily and policy acknowledgment monthly. The point in time testing page compares this with testing controls once a year.
Which frameworks does DigitalXForce Automated GRC cover?
DigitalXForce maps each control once to every framework requirement it satisfies, across 50+ compliance frameworks, so one piece of evidence is reused across all of them. The DigitalXForce frameworks page shows the most requested frameworks, and the full list is available on request.
What evidence does DigitalXForce keep, and what happens when it goes stale?
Every test result in DigitalXForce is stored with the evidence it read and a timestamp. DigitalXForce labels stale or missing evidence for what it is and never counts it as a pass. Each piece of evidence can be traced back to the tool it came from, the control it belongs to and the date DigitalXForce read it.
Does DigitalXForce Automated GRC work with the tools a team already runs?
DigitalXForce reads evidence from the tools an organization already runs through 250+ technology integrations, using X-Connect adapters for security tools and E-Connect adapters for enterprise systems. DigitalXForce can also send remediation tickets to ServiceNow or Jira if the organization chooses.
Has DigitalXForce been recognized for GRC software?
DigitalXForce was named a Leader in the IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Governance, Risk, and Compliance Software Vendor Assessment, 2025 (IDC #US53615325, June 2025). The DigitalXForce IDC research page has the details of both IDC recognitions.
